Celebration Day
Yesterday I turned 27. I'd like to thank my parents for making the day possible; especially my mom, who really pushed me...to be the man I am today.
While I was celebrating yesterday, I was also looking forward to a celebration day in October.
Five years ago, Led Zeppelin reunited (with John Bonham's son Jason on drums) for a one-off benefit show at London's O2 Arena. It was a concert event which had nearly 20 Million people vying in a lottery to get tickets. The ticketing website crashed due to traffic. In the end, about 18,000 people filled the arena to watch history unfold. Next month, we get a front row seat to that night.
Celebration Day, the concert film chronicling the 2007 performance, will be coming to Theatres and DVD/Blu-Ray. Hopefully, it'll show in Fredericton...we'll have to wait and see. Here's the trailer:
